Australian Standard AS1366
All classes of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) supplied by Koolfoam Pty Ltd are manufactured to Australian Standards 1366. Part 3 – 1992.
Hydrocarbon pentane gas used by Koolfoam is required to make the polystyrene beads expand into the commonly recognised form. This gas has no effect on the ozone layer.
EPS has never used depleting CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons).
